About the Group

This group of leading European trade and economics professionals is coming to the United States to explore how America advances a strong and prosperous economy — both at home and around the world. During their visit, they will gain firsthand insight into U.S. financial markets, trade, and export strategies, as well as regional and state-level economic development efforts. The group will also engage with experts to better understand the U.S. approach to international economic and monetary issues, banking, private and public sector finance, and the U.S. financial regulatory system. Their time in the U.S. will provide valuable opportunities to exchange ideas, strengthen professional networks, and deepen mutual understanding of economic challenges and opportunities on both sides of the Atlantic.

Rosa Inchausti

Tempe City Manager

Rosa Inchausti, a 30-year City of Tempe employee and longtime resident, has been appointed as the city’s first female City Manager. Starting her career as Tempe’s first bilingual Marriage and Family Therapist, she went on to lead several groundbreaking initiatives as the city’s first Diversity Director and later as Strategic Management and Diversity Director, including wastewater testing for public health and helping Tempe earn national recognition as a “What Works City.” Most recently, she served as Chief Deputy City Manager, overseeing key departments such as Economic Development and Community Health.

April Kroner

Deputy Director

In January, April Kroner, AICP, joined Tempe’s Economic Development team as the Deputy Director. April comes to Tempe with over 25 years of experience as a passionate economic and community development professional who led Wisconsin and Colorado municipal teams before relocating to Arizona. While she is well-versed in land use, sustainability, and public policy, economic development is her forte. April is excited to take on new initiatives to advance community goals and share her technical expertise and enthusiasm for the profession with her team and peers. She is an outdoor enthusiast, mom to 3 adult ‘kids’, loves donuts and pineapples, and looks forward to never again enduring cold winters.
