Programs Assistant Intern
Tino Mavunga
Originally from Zimbabwe, Tino embarked on her global journey in 2010, beginning her studies in South Africa and later living in Ghana for nearly six years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Management from Monash University and is currently pursuing a Master in Global Management with a concentration in Digital Transformation at Thunderbird, the School of Global Management at Arizona State University.
Tino also holds a certificate in Software Entrepreneurship from the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology in Accra, Ghana. She is a certified Innovation Associate through the Global Innovation Management Institute and a registered Scrum Master.
With experience working across Europe as a remote software project manager, Tino brings a global perspective to the intersection of technology, people, and policy. Her cross-cultural background has fueled a deep interest in tech policy, international relations, and global supply chains.
Next semester, Tino will study Artificial Intelligence, Chip Strategy, and the Future of Work. She is especially excited to be in Arizona at this pivotal moment as the state continues to lead in the semiconductor value chain through the presence of companies like TSMC and Intel. She looks forward to contributing to Arizona’s growing role as a center of technology and the future of work.
Outside the classroom, Tino is passionate about art, loves visiting museums, and enjoys exploring history. A fun fact about her is that she never turns down a Lord of the Rings trivia challenge. She also enjoys a good game of Scrabble and can easily get lost in a YouTube rabbit hole exploring everything from internet culture to digital transformation.
We’re excited to grow and learn alongside Tino on the team.
