Kate Conway

Kate serves as Honeywell’s Director of Government Relations supporting global business interests at the state and local level. In this capacity, she advocates for technology solutions that promote innovation, enhance efficiency, and accelerate digital transformation in vital industries.    

Prior to this role, Kate served for 12 years in support of government affairs and maritime regulatory compliance as an officer in the United States Coast Guard where she facilitated uninterrupted trade and commerce in strategic ports. She partnered with international, tribal, and local entities to ensure existing laws adequately safeguarded the maritime community, secured critical port infrastructure, and sustained environmental protection standards. In southern California, Kate led engagements with Congress, State Department delegations, Department of Homeland Security officials, and the media. Previously, she served as a political appointee in the White House Office of Management and Administration for President George W. Bush.

A citizen ambassador, Kate participated in the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange program igniting her passion for international diplomacy in 2002. She then earned her bachelor’s degree at Northern Arizona University and her master’s degree in international business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University. Kate is an active member on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Arizona Manufacturers’ Council. She resides in her hometown of Phoenix with her three active children and enjoys golfing in the Arizona sunshine.
