Global Ties Arizona Promotes Kristin Allen to President & CEO

Global Ties Arizona, Phoenix-based nonprofit, announces the appointment of its executive director Kristin Allen to President & CEO. In this role, Kristin will continue to lead the organization in its mission to promote international relations, understanding and collaboration between Arizonans and leaders worldwide in a multitude of fields, building on her exceptional contributions as Executive Director.
Kristin brings more than 17 years of international experience and a proven track record of leadership and innovation to her new appointment. Since joining Global Ties Arizona, she has brought strategic vision and a passion for fostering cross-cultural connections for our state and nation.
The Board of Directors expresses its confidence in Kristin's ability to lead Global Ties Arizona into a new era of growth and success. "Kristin's leadership has been instrumental in shaping the organization's trajectory, and we are thrilled to see her step into this role," says Barry Wong, Chair of the Board. During the pandemic, Kristin kept our community engaged with innovative virtual programming. Most recently, she expanded GTAZ’s portfolio of exchange and community programs increasing our community’s engagement in diplomacy and international affairs. Her efforts raised the visibility and stature of our cities to leaders from around the world,” says Immediate Past Chair of the Board, Nicole Hollenbeck. “With Kristin’s passion for cultural exchange, strategic foresight, and pioneering mindset, we can be confident of the organization’s continued success in fostering international understanding and collaboration in building strong global ties for Arizona.”
