Location: AC Hotel Downtown Tucson (151 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85701)
Join community members, local experts, and leaders from across Southern Arizona in welcoming two international delegations visiting from the Middle East and North Africa, and Ukraine. This gathering offers an informal opportunity to exchange ideas, build relationships, and connect with distinguished guests selected by the U.S. Department of State to participate in the International Visitor Leadership Program.
Regional Collaboration to Combat Transnational Crime
Visitors from the Middle East and North Africa will spend their time in Arizona learning how government agencies, law enforcement, communities, and the private sector work together to combat transnational crime, strengthen border security, and prevent illicit trafficking.
Best Practices for Critical Minerals Management
Government officials and private-sector leaders from Ukraine will explore Arizona’s critical-minerals sector and learn about mineral production, processing, recovery, recycling, supply-chain security, and innovative technologies.
Meet members of both delegations, hear about their experiences, share Tucson’s expertise, and help strengthen connections between Southern Arizona and communities around the globe.
