Esperanza Yegon

Programs & Communications Assistant

Esperanza Yegon is a Kenyan graduate student at the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University, pursuing a Master of Global Management with a concentration in Global Business. A registered nurse and valedictorian of her undergraduate class, she transitioned from clinical practice into global leadership, driven by a passion for healthcare advocacy, cross-cultural collaboration, and community impact.

At Thunderbird, Esperanza previously served as Vice President of Operations for Thunderbird Student Government and currently serves as President of the Foreign Policy Initiative and Vice President of the Thunderbird Medical and Global Health Innovation Club. Through these leadership roles, she has led international dialogue initiatives, student engagement efforts, and cross-sector collaborations focused on global affairs and innovation.

As a Programs and Communications Assistant Intern at Global Ties Arizona, Esperanza is committed to advancing citizen diplomacy and fostering international exchange that promotes meaningful global understanding and collaboration.
