Aryana Patel

Aryana is a high school junior at BASIS Chandler with aspirations of a career in public policy and global diplomacy. Attending a culturally diverse school and also having experienced the richness of her own culture through her participation in Indian Classical Dance and Singing, Aryana recognizes the importance of intercultural understanding and involvement. At school, Aryana is involved in her Mock Trial and Model United Nations clubs, which gave her a greater understanding of policy and diplomacy as a whole. Her experience with culture, policy, and democracy through her employment at the nonprofit Rhizome which promotes youth advocacy, has led Aryana to pursue a career in government and intercommunal relations. Aryana is a strong believer in advocacy and action, but also peaceful cooperation to achieve peace and diplomacy.
