Acacia Wastchak

Acacia serves as the Operations and Programming Associate for Global Ties Arizona where she supports the implementation of U.S. State Department–sponsored international exchange programs, while ensuring strong organizational operations and administrative coordination.

Born and raised in Phoenix, Acacia has lived and worked around the world in Ecuador, Italy, France, and Argentina. Having previously interned with the U.S. Department of State for two years in three different offices, she is passionate about public diplomacy with the goal of promoting cross cultural understanding and collaboration. Acacia is also a polyglot who loves traveling and learning about new countries and cultures while sharing and promoting Arizona's role as an global hub for innovation.
